I’m running for Murrieta Valley Unified School District School Board Area 3 — for my kids and your kids.

I’m running for Murrieta Valley Unified School District School Board Area 3 — for my kids and your kids.

I am the Senior Director of Development at the UC Riverside School of Public Policy, where I have served for 12 years supporting programs that prepare students for leadership and public service. My professional career has been shaped by a deep belief in the transformative power of public education and the opportunity it creates for individuals, families, and communities.

My wife, Shannon, and I chose to move to Murrieta 12 years ago, specifically for its schools, and we are raising two sons currently enrolled in the district. Like many local families, we are deeply invested in the community — active in our church, involved in a local Scout pack, participate in Murrieta youth sports, and we enjoy supporting many local businesses.

Service has been a constant throughout my life. Beginning in high school, I have been involved in community organizations including Key Club, Interact Club, Circle K, Rotary, and Kiwanis, experiences that instilled a lifelong commitment to leadership, service, and giving back.

As a school board member, I will bring a parent’s perspective, a professional understanding of education policy, and a collaborative approach focused on student success, family engagement, and preparing every child for the future they choose. My commitment is simple and personal: strong schools, thriving students, and a community that works together — For My Kids and Your Kids.
